Petrovac at sea is one of the most beautiful places on the Montenegrin coast. This is truly a wonderful place located near the coast and stretched along the semi-circular line of the bay. There are 1500 residents in Petrovac according to the last census. You can say that Petrovac was constantly increasing the number of its residents during its history. Of course, when we say residents, we are talking about people who live and work here during the whole year, and not taking into account tourists and people who stay here during summer in their weekend houses and summer houses. There were only around 300 residents in Petrovac in the middle of the 20th century, but since then this number increased by two or three hundred people. Today Petrovac is a real travel destination and many people spend their vacation there. Petrovac is mostly visited during three summer months, like all coastal towns, that is in June, July and August.

During summer, Petrovac is full of guests who came to spend their vacation here and to enjoy the beauty of the Adriatic Sea. A lot of people can be seen walking along beautifully arranged promenade in Petrovac in evening hours. Almost all tourists go out and come to this promenade where they can sit in some of many fine cafes and restaurants. They are places of open type where guests can enjoy beautiful view of the sea.  Accommodation in Petrovac consist of many apartments and rooms with bathrooms. This kind of accommodation is in private villas which are plentiful here and can be considered small hotels, although they are classified as private accommodation. Of course, there’s also a lot of big and small hotels. Whereever you stay in Petrovac you’ll have nice and pleasant time, because all accommodation, private or hotel, is arranged according to the highest standards in tourism.
